(A/N): Alright I got this idea from reading a tumblr post that made me cry, so I hope you enjoy this.

~~~~~~~~~~~
A few days ago
(y/n) entered the two bed-room apartment she shared with he older sister, (s/n). Both of them are working students, seeing that they were both orphaned from a very early age.
(y/n) worked in a local cafe nearby while her sister works in a publishing house at the other side of town. She also was a college student, so (s/n) gets stressed more often than (y/n). But she still managed her work, academics and social-life.
Despite their very hard life, they survived. After all, all they did was love and care for each other.
(y/n) sighed as she hung her jacket on the hook behind the door.
"(s/n)! I'm home!" she shouted.
But (s/n) didn't appear. She would usually come home earlier than (y/n), welcome her with a warm hug that they never received from their late mother. But she didn't welcome (y/n) back like usual.
If that was the case, there is supposed to be the sound of their TV, or the sound of someone cooking, or the music coming from (s/n) room. If she wasn't here, she's probably at Antonio's house, her best(est) friend (and honestly, (y/n) was very fond of in more ways than one).
But she was here.
(s/n)'s coat was hanging on the rack, the door was locked, her shoes were complete in the cabinet near the door and the lights were turned on.
(y/n) walked to (s/n)'s room, expecting her to be asleep. But she wasn't.
Her eyes were open, the obvious dried tears on her pale cheeks, her face void of any emotion and her fragile figure suspending six inches off the ground.
~~~~~~~~~~~

She remembered herself wearing black, her eyes puffy and red but dry. Beside her is her best friend, Feli, his brother, Lovino and their very caring and unnaturally handsome grandfather. To her other side is her young (supposed to be) step-mother and (s/n)'s best friend, Antonio.

She remembered the lowering casket, the beautiful pale face of (s/n) that looks like she was only sleeping, the sound of the dirt hitting the wooden cover of the coffin, ,the cries from her supposed to be step mother, but most of all, she remembered Antonio's arms around her, carrying her shaking form away from (s/n)'s tomb stone. She remembered finally breaking down and stained his and Feli's shirts with her tears.

Despite the cruelty of what happened, (y/n)'s life moved on and she had to catch up to go on living, but she did so with the pain still evident in her aura.

She wasn't bullied usually, but the school silently informed her schoolmates to not badger her with anything. Feliciano did his best to cheer her up, but there was no progress. And it wasn't helping by the fact that she heard people talking behind her back a few weeks after still not recovering from her shock.

In one afternoon, almost three months after her sister's untimely death, Feliciano received a call.

"Ciao~ Vargas residence~!" he greeted in his usual bubbly manner.

"good morning to you Feli~!" A spanish accented voice greeted from the other end of the line.

"Oh, Ciao Antonio~! do you want me to get fratello?" he asked.

"No, I actually want to speak with you..." The usually happy-go-lucky Spaniard said, fading out.

"Eh? what is it?" Feli asked in pure curiosity, tilting his head.

"you're very close to (y/n) right?" Antonio asked.

"Yes" Feli replied, confused.

"Is she gonna work tomorrow?" He asked on.

"She always does, even on weekends now, why?" Feli asked.

"Keep her in the cafe until I arrive, alright?" Antonio requested.

~~~~~~~~~~~
(y/n) walked around the halls silently like usual. Feli found her in front of her locker, trying to open it.
"Ciao (y/n)! how are you?" he greeted, emitting the usual happy warmth he gave out.
"hey Feli" she replied silently, opening her locker.
Suddenly, a pile of paper fell out of her locker. She didn't bother to read what is written on them though. It always has the same words in them, but she was to numb to feel. Like nothing happened, she kicked the papers away from her foot and proceeded on packing her things.
"are yo going to work today?" He asked.
(y/n) didn't say anything. There was something running in her mind that she didn't have the heart to tell Feli.
When she closed the door, she faced Feli.
"I'll be there as soon as I can" she said before hugging Feli and walking away.
~~~~~~~~~~~

"She's not here yet?" Toni asked.

"not yet" Feli said, slightly panicking, " Antonio, I'm worried, she never late"

"I'm worried too" Toni replied, frowning, which is unusual for him.

Then he stood up.

"I'm going to her house, if she shows up, call me right away" he said seriously.

Feli nodded as Toni walked to the glass doors and leaving the cafe.

Antonio didn't know (y/n) well, but well enough to expect her to might do something drastic. He always see her whenever he visited (s/n). He particularly loved her cooking and the fact that she can transform into a blushing mess in a matter of seconds after complimenting or teasing her.

(s/n) always told him to take care of her dear little sister, that he, of course, reassured. But he never expected (s/n) to mean it like that.

And that made him worry even more.

He quickened his pace, even jay walked twice, to get to her apartment faster. He ran to the elevator and waited in anticipation. When he heard the ding that signaled that he had arrived, as soon as the door opened to the size that he can fit, he ran down the hall and stopped in front of the door.

First he knocked, just to be polite. But when he wasn't answered after ten minutes, he tried opening the door.

Fortunately,it was opened. He stepped inside and closed the door behind him.

"(y/n)? you here?" he called out.

He crossed the living room silently and that is wen he heard it.

As if  chair was knocked unto the ground.

Toni ran to the direction of where the sound came from, which is (s/n)'s room. He threw the door opened and saw a convulsing (y/n), six inches of the ground.

"(Y/N)!" He exclaimed, rushing to her body and lifting her up enough to open her pathway for air.

He took out a swiss army knife he kept in his pocket, flipped the blade and cut the rope. He fell down on the floor with her, cushioning her fall. Panicking, he checked for her breath and her pulse and to his greatest relief, both were normal.

Thank God he made it just in time.

He pulled her to lay her head on his lap, pushed back the tufts of hair covering her (e/c) eyes and saw them wet.

"Why... Why didn't you let me?..." she sobbed.

He sighed deeply, smiled softly and stroked her cheek.

"Then I would be breaking the promise to (s/n) and myself" he said, "she want me to protect you and I promised her I will"

"what does it matter to you anyway, I don't have anything left" she said forlornly.

"That is when you are wrong chica" he said, taking out a picture of when he, she and her sister was taken by the Vargases to the beach, "you have us, we love you so much and we will never leave you"

He gave the picture to her and she stared into it intently.

"your sister might not be here physically, but she loves you so much that as a spirit she'll never leave you" he said quietly, pulling her to an embrace, "and if you ever kill yourself, what would you think we would feel, what we would feel because we thought that we weren't able to help you... what would you think we feel if you die without us telling how much you mean to us... Feli... Lovino... Grandpa Vargas... me? We all love you, I love you "

"I promised myself that I will make you smile again" Toni said soothingly into her ear, " at least give me a chance to fulfill that promise and give chance to your life to prove to you that you are worth it"

With those words, she dropped the picture down is back and hugged him back, crying, but not like the past ones. She was crying to wash away the numbing pain and of relief, now being reassured.

Behind her, not seen, is a silhouette of a young woman resembling (y/n), crying tears of joy to see her sister finally letting go. (S/n) of course felt guilty, but she wasn't as strong as (y/n) and she doesn't want to burden her.

~~~~~~~~~~~
(timeskip brought to you by my naturally eren jaeger hairstyle)
It has been a two years now and (y/n) has left her old apartment after Toni told her that she should live with him. He also lived alone in the house of his uncle who went back to Spain, so he was happy to be with (y/n).
After a while, he finally sealed the deal to his promise to (s/n) and poured his heart to her and asked her to be his girlfriend.
(y/n) began to smile more now and haven't cried that much ever since Toni has saved her.
But that doesn't mean she hasn't cried. She cried only once after that incident. And that was the time when he asked her to marry him after three years of being together.
One night, when Toni thought his fiance was asleep, he pushed back her hair lovingly and kissed her forehead before saying; "thank you for giving me and life another chance"
All (y/n) did was smile and snuggled to him closer.
THE END
ok, this is not my first time writing, just the first time I wrote something in deviantart.
Anyway, this is not just a fanfic, I am really sending out to those suicidal people or at least all of the people thinking they're not worth it, inflicting self-harm etc.
I want you guys to know that you are worth it! if you're being bullied or going though an emotional ordeal, just bear with it, if it ends, you'll be stronger than ever, because I believe that whatever life throws at you, it will make you strong. Don't resort to ending your life because what would you think the people around you will feel? they won't go "finally he's/she's gone" or "he/she never mattered anyway". NO. They will be depressed as you were, and probably sadder.
Anyway
This goes to everyone...
so Hetalia belongs to Hidekaz Himaruya
you belong to you.... or Spain Icon owo .... hehehe
